- WEEk 13 Date of teaching: Monday November 27th 2023 English 1–Period 21 UNIT 6: IN THE CLASSROOM Lesson 2 I. OBJECTIVES: 1. Language focus/ Knowledge: - Vocabulary: red, pen, pencil. - Sound: /e/ - Phrases: a red pen, a red pencil - Sentence: I have a red pen/pencil. 2. Competences: +Say the letter E/e and the words red, pen, pencil and the phrases a red pen, a red pencil in a chant. +Listen and identify the sentences: I have a red bell. I have a red pencil. +Trace the letter E/e. 3. Attitude: -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students; love learning English II. TEACHING AIDS: - Pictures, E- book, computer , projector, pictures, recording. III. PROCEDURE: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Activity 1:Warm up:5’ -help ss to be eager and happy to begin the new lesson. - Invite a few Ss to point to the picture/poster and pronounce the sound of the letter E/e and say the words pen, pencil, - SS play game. bell, red.
