OBJECTIVES: - Vocabulary: locks, clocks, pots,mops. - Sound: /o/ + Remember and say some new words: locks, clocks, pots,mops. + Pronounce the sound of the letter: O/o -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students; love learning English II. TEACHING AIDS: - Pictures, E- book, computer , projector, pictures, recording. III. PROCEDURE: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Activity 1:Warm up:5’ -help ss to be eager and happy to begin the new lesson. Have ss to play game: rub out and remember. - SS play game. Activity 2. Listen and repeat:13’ - help Ss to pronounce the sound of the letter O/o and remember and say some new words: locks, clocks, pots,mops. - Have Ss look at the picture and draw Ss’ attention to the letter O/o , the word next to locks and other words next to the things and the colour of the letter O/o. -Look at the picture and listen. -Ask Ss to point to the letter O/o .Have them listen and repeat the sound of the letter O/o more than once, if necessary. -Point, listen and repeat. -Tell Ss to point to locks and the word locks .Ask them to listen and repeat the word. -Repeat the same procedure with: clocks, -Ss repeat. pots,mops.
